THE OLD TOWN OF RETHYMNO

One of the most well-preserved renaissance old towns in Greece with architecture shaped during the years of the Venetian and Turkish occupations. Central and best-known entrance to the heart of the old town is the old gate(Porta Guora) from there it is easy to get lost in its narrow streets each of them ends in one of its arbitrary or restaurants and places for entertainment.
